BE ART GALLERY & STUDIO (B.A.G.S.)
HOSTS “HOLIDAY ART LAND” COMMUNITY ART EVENT

St Louis, December 16, 2023 – The Be Art Gallery & Studio (B.A.G.S.) is collaborating with the St. Louis Galleria Mall to host the “Holiday Art Land” community art event.

B.A.G.S. is a non-profit organization that provides diverse art workshops, activities and curriculums to youth in the St. Louis community. Founded in 2018 by artist and teacher Byron D. Rogers, the organization uses art as a tool to help youth develop a sense of pride, of self, and an appreciation of the arts. Byron’s philosophy is that art is an avenue that promotes healing and growth while connecting us to each other. He is supported by a group of talented painters, graphic designers, photographers, sculptors, educators, musicians, life coaches and ministers who work tirelessly to help cultivate the inner artist that exists in everyone.

“Holiday Art Land” is a community art event providing free access to art-based crafts and activities for youth and families. Our “Art in the Mall” event held in June at the Galleria was such a great success, these past two years, we’re returning to the mall with a holiday theme where participants will take part in decorating ornaments and other Christmas crafts.

B.A.G.S would like to give a special thanks to our 2023 “Holiday Art Land” sponsors including Missouri Arts Council, Saint Louis Art Museum, Clean Cut Lawns, Thrivent, Saint Louis Galleria and the Studio 858 Artist Media Co-op. We are so appreciative of their generosity!
