Team Tekshapers actively participated in the Hon’ble Prime Minister's Townhall with IT Professionals, at Jawharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, on 24th October’18, Wednesday, which directly connected many IT professionals across the country including TCS, Tech Mahindra & Cognizant to name a few. The program was part of self4society initiative where Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the IT professionals through a Town hall meeting and virtually connected campuses across the country to encourage IT professionals to volunteer for social causes. The idea of this meeting emanated from the wish of the Prime Minister where he had a desire of an IT industry for social action.
Hon’ble PM praised the youth of the country by saying that India is making a mark in the start-up world due to its youth. He also said that there are many start-ups in the social sector. More power to youngsters doing such wonderful things.
