Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom (10th May, 2012) - Autonet Insurance, the multi-award winning van insurance broker, have successfully raised £2,200 to pay for a Counselling Room at Cheethams Children’s Centre.

Members of Autonet’s charity committee have visited Cheethams Children’s Centre to view the finished Counselling Room, and commented on how much they believed this new area would benefit the families and children who attend the children’s centre.

Whilst Autonet was visiting the Centre’s new counselling room, the company also presented their second cheque to the Cheethams Children’s Centre after successfully raising £1,200 for the Oncology Unit. This money will contribute towards making the children’s stay at Cheethams Children’s Centre more pleasant.

Lynette Barlow, Community Fundraiser at UHNS, commented: “We would like to thank Autonet for this donation. It will pay for items that will benefit the children that come to Cheethams and make their stay more comfortable.”

Staff at the North Staffs University Hospital appreciate the donations Autonet has made through their fundraising efforts, holding events such as dress down days to raise money for Cheethams Children’s Centre.
