Unique Custom Surfboard Designs, with Plan to Directly Help Fight Poverty in Nicaragua

WeeBOARDS.com, a Seattle-based surfboard manufacturer, announced today that it has launched a new e-commerce website with a unique online product catalog consisting of 13 mini surfboard models that can be customized with their online board designer. The company’s miniature surfboard models, none which are bigger than 5’ feet in length, are available with a full-array of customizable options. WeeBOARDS.com also announced a plan to support children in Nicaragua through the proceeds of sales on the site.

“As we saw with Skin-it.com, which did custom mobile devices, we’re seeing strong interest in custom, personalized surfboards,” said Nicole White of WeeBOARDS.com. “Our approach is to offer fun shaped models for kids and adults of all ages with an unlimited design print options. We fill the ever-growing trend for more customizable creative products for individuals wanting to express themselves and their identities.”

The online board designer allows customers to design their surfboard using a photograph uploaded from any digital device or through Facebook or Instagram.WeeBOARDS.com customers receive a mini surfboard that’s fully wrapped in a full-color, high-resolution design that they both created and approved online. Parents of small children looking to introduce their kids to the sport of surfing, now have online access to ordering a first-time board for a boy or girl. The personalization capability makes it a suitable gift idea.

The WeeBOARD skins are printed on a large format printer in full-color and high resolution on a vinyl material that lasts a long time in water and in the sun. Board owners can order new surfboard skins and re-create their boards over and over again. The label/skin also acts as a protector from the sun and minor dings and scrapes. Businesses can also take advantage of the site. Companies can create branded WeeBOARDS to use as tradeshow displays, office decorations, props for photoshoots, promotional products and corporate events.

WeeBOARDS plans to share the rewarding lifestyle of surfing by buying used surfboards purchased with a few dollars from every sale and giving them away to the local Nicaraguan kids that live in poverty along the west coast of Nicaragua. The project is called WAVESforNICAS. “It’s simple you feel better inside,”

White added. “Surfing won’t solve everything, but it definitely helps.”

WeeBOARDS.com accepts domestic and international orders.
