If I Don't Trust, Can I Be Trusted During Coronavirus

Trust is essential in human cultures and societies. To be considered trustworthy is high praise.

"Be worthy of trust." L. Ron Hubbard in The Way to Happiness, put this so simply, so directly. It is a chronic problem, a chronic issue in today's world. The hiddenness of the culture and society that the internet and the social media have created is interesting, to say the least. That one does not see all the connections as they form and move means one is missing information. So trust becomes even more important. This is very much in evidence as one learns of scams pretending to be business deals. It is also a factor in trying to discern who has credible information regarding the intentions of politicians or governments or pharmaceutical corporations or... the list goes on.

In this expression of a society, it is most important to be trustworthy yourself. "When one gives an assurance or promise or makes a sworn intention, one must make it come true." L. Ron Hubbard. This will ensure that one is trusted themselves, and having a good reputation, is more likely to bring people to you that you can trust. Any society, whether in person for a handshake, by Zoom or any other platform, or text and chat, are only as workable as we trust one another. www.thewaytohappiness.org
