Every one of us was given birth. In whatever circumstances, happy or sad, with joyful ease or painful effort, with financial plenty or deep poverty, every one of us was born of woman.

We haven't all been raised by the woman who bore us, but most often we are; she is the person who brings us forward into the larger aspects of living. There are others involved as well, who help, usually a man. And there can be multiples of men and women, in many combinations who help. Or try to help, or who neglect or harm one. In the end, there we are; alive and interacting with the rest of life. We made it and we had help.

If things were harsh, we sometimes bring resentment with us all the rest of our lives. This might harm "them", but truly, it harms us more! Many wear resent or hate as a shield which only keeps out potential love and help.

"The way to happiness includes being on good terms with one's parents or those who raised one.” L. Ron Hubbard.
