Be Industrious!?  But I Want to Go To The Beach

It is perfect weather for the beach, but we must get to work!

There are times when molasses pours through my veins, and moving my body seems too much of a chore. Even my mind is too sluggish to be of much use.  It is a glorious fall day, which in Florida means a perfect beach day.  It is a day fair enough to be delicious with warm sun, refreshing water, and a breeze. Summer here is much too brutal for pleasant beaching. This is the kind of day that brings the snow birds, our seasonal residents.  This is when those of us who are permanent here need to swing into high gear and get busy.  It seems especially busy this year.  I am not sure if that is an actual statistic, or if it is just a perception in contrast to Coronavirus lockdown lack of activity.  Also, if you are a merchant and just springing into action, you are sooo behind the production curve.
So, back into the flow of livingness.  "Be industrious.", L. Ron Hubbard says in The Way To Happiness. So simple.  make something. Create something. Get into the swing.  It is fall.  We begin a new cycle every fall, anyway, since so much of our cultural rhythm is built around an agrarian way of life.  Civilization grew up with farming. So, the school year has started.  The preparations for the Holiday shopping season are well under way. And the snow birds have arrived bringing action and life.  Wear masks. Be safe. Be Industrious.  www.thewaytohappiness.org @waytohappinesstampa
