Stefan Joyal grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and has lived in Wake Forest, North Carolina as well. While he was a student at Wake Forest University, Joyal “started to ponder the idea of what a world would be like taking the mobile detailing industry to an on demand technology platform.” He was inspired by the day that he spent washing cars for his family and started to develop a business plan for a service mobile app. He launched an app called Washé and began connecting professional car washers with clients. His app was officially launched on January 25th, 2016 shortly after he “successfully sourced top tier enterprise application developer to code the IP into a scalable mobile app.”

Joyal created a strong business plan and “Submitted and trademarked the intellectual properties for the mobile application for iOS and Android.” He launched beta trials and found private investors and additional sources of seed money. Stefan Joyal was responsible for hiring all executive leadership members and back office team members. Joyal sought potential corporate accounts as well as supply companies. After the initial launch of Washé, he worked to expand the territory of the app. He started in Palm Beach County in Florida and quickly expanded the area.

In July, Stefan Joyal launched his app in Southern California. In an interview with Built in Los Angeles, Joyal said “car owners from Los Angeles to San Diego can utilize our easy-to-use app to drive clean without ever having to leave their homes or offices.” He spent nearly a year working towards expanding his company and moving his app into other cities. He has created jobs in Florida as well as California and looks forward to operating in other cities and states. The headquarters of Washé are located in Boca Raton, Stefan Joyal works out of the corporate office and enjoys working with hired contractors and coworkers.

Joyal is a young entrepreneur who has used his ambition to create a successful company. After only a year, Stefan Joyal has successfully moved his company, Washé, to the west coast and looks forward to expanding his company even more.
