As like our environment, our body is also made up of the combination of five elements.
The five elements viz, Earth, Air (Metal), Water, Wood and Fire are by products of one another and they control and regulate each other, when there is any disorder in their functioning that cause the disease.
When man takes food, the food and its taste are interlinked to these five elements. Each organ related to these five elements – receives five different taste and energy for their right functioning. The taste reaches the appropriate organs by the process of digestion. The digestion is 100 % when the food mixes with the saliva and enters the stomach. When the food mixes with the saliva the taste of food gets digested in mouth and reaches to the appropriate organs right away. More over the nutrient of every food is assimilated into spleen through digestion. This assimilated energy by the spleen is converted into the nutritional energy or life force in the lungs by way of oxidation. Before conversion of nutrient into nutritional energy, this nutrient passes from stomach to spleen and from spleen to lungs, simultaneously the involved organs are vitiated or energised.
The unconverted nutrient become stagnant and create disease in the above organs.
The problems that will be created due to stagnant nutrient in the said organs;
Changes in the Stomach: (i) Loss of appetite (ii) Aversion to eat (iii) Compulsory intake of food will result in either vomiting or stomach-ache (iv) common cold, nasal disorder and head-ache
Changes in Spleen: (i) Wriggles of muscle around waist (ii) Inclination towards sour and spicy-food (iii) Frequent feel of appetite and intake of abnormal food (iv) subnormal thirsty (v) Excessive secretion of saliva and overflow of saliva on pillows and beds (vi) Abnormal delay in bowel movement.
Changes in Lungs: (i) Passing of excreta often (ii) Weakness after passing excreta or feel head-ache (iii) Due to nasal obstruction they are unable to smell fragrance (iv) Allergic food will create skin-allergy or asthma (v) Asthma will increase after intercourse (vi) Excess wheezing ever after a light work
The nutrient separated by saliva is digested in the stomach, goes to lungs through spleen. Then the Lungs convert the nutrient into nutritional energy by way of oxidation. This nutritional energy reaches the heart along with some still unconverted nutrient.
This unconverted nutrient gets converted into nutritional energy in Liver. If this process of conversion continues in liver on years together, then liver weakens and losses its activities and creates a place for prolonged disease and the impact torture human-being if curation takes more time or the disease prolongs without cure. It represents that the liver losses its active-energy and in-turn affects spleen.
Increased unusual hungry and appetite exhorts the weakness of spleen. Under this circumstances the digestion consumes more time as well as belated evacuation or the patient may evacuate more than thrice day. This may lead to increase in the weight of the body and simultaneously worsens the condition of spleen. Worsening of spleen affects pancreas vigorously. This may be main cause which slows down he secretion of insulin in the pancreas. It leads the human-being to become a diabetic patient in forthcoming days.
