The British Columbia PNP announced 28 invitations to appeal for a provincial nomination held on September 26 to B.C immigration applicants registered in the tech pilot program of the province.
All applicants invited by the British Columbia PNP should have a job offer that is minimum one year (365 days) in duration in one of the British Columbia PNP Tech Pilot's 29 critical professions.
Advantages to Applicants if Nominated by British Columbia
If chosen by the province of British Columbia, Express Entry British Columbia applicants will be granted an additional 600 points toward their score of Comprehensive Ranking System, out of a potential total of 1,200. With the extra points, an applicant is well-positioned to get an Invitation To Apply for Canada PR at a later federal draw from the pool of Express Entry.
Skills Immigration applicants chosen by the BC province will have their appeals for the Canada PR processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (I.R.C.C) which is separate from the system of Express Entry.
