Maybe there is a reason why people like Daniela attach feel so good when surrounded by tunes. The human brain works in ways we cannot understand. Hundreds of scientific researches have tried to understand how a simple thing like listening to a song changes its behavior completely.

It is all about your feelings. Music can get you anywhere. We can run faster, work out harder, laugh longer, shed more tears and achieve peace.

Music is a way of expressing our emotions, which might not be possible under normal conditions.

When music plays, we are immersed in it, thinking much less and not allowing our minds to drift away so easily, as we connect to the tunes. As the thoughts cease, the body starts healing itself. And guess what the absence of thought is? Pure bliss! Have you ever experienced attending to a live entertainment show and noticed your mood completely change with the first tunes you heard?

Now, here is a trick: try new genres of music. Discover them, find new tunes, and work on playlists. Try to surround yourself by music and get it going exactly as you want.
Disconnecting from everyday problems may not be easy. However, it is critical to get in tune with good relaxing music. Here is how:

1. Turn your cell phone off. Nothing more stressful than your favorite song interrupted by an inopportune call.
2. Choose music that will help you relax. Not all are equal; some relax with a super soft melody, while others need more intensity. In any case, the important thing is to choose the one that is best for you and that sets the perfect scenario for a safe relaxation.
3. The place is not an issue. You can choose a comfortable armchair or even a bath if you enjoy a good soaking bath. It could be also on a bus, while driving your car or even taking your dog for a walk.
4. Listen to music in an intensity that pleases you. Not too intense or too weak to hear.
5. Finally focus on something that makes you fully happy. Replace your stressful thoughts with a happy and relaxed image of yourself.
