iSpiice is a volunteer organization with volunteers across the globe. These volunteers get all forms of conveniences from the organization.

iSpiice Volunteer and Travel in India, a volunteering organization has made a mark with their work programs in India. The organization is located at Dharamsala in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. They offer volunteering opportunities to people from all over the world.

According to a company spokesperson, iSpiice provides education to numerous needy children. The volunteers are involved in teaching English, computer, and other subjects. They also look after street children and homeless women. He went on to say that the organization has till date, helped out thousands of homeless children and needy people in the country. The organization arranges for Summer camps, renovates local institutions, such as schools, colleges, clinics, day care centres, etc.

The spokesperson also said that each volunteer program ranges for a time period of about two to twelve weeks. Anyone can become a part of the volunteer programs. It can be a couple, a student, a retired person or even a group. The volunteers are also taken out on a guided tour to different parts of the country.

iSpiice is one of the most active volunteer enterprises in India. The guided tours help in energising the volunteers on weekends. They travel to some of the most famous tourist spots of the country. Starting from a Taj Mahal tour to a trip to Manali and a trekking tour in the Himalayas, the volunteers are taken to many more places. Other weekend destinations include Wagah border (the border between India and Pakistan); Jallianwala Bagh gardens and Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. The work programs in India are, thus, not just about working, but also about weekend tours.

An executive in the organization is of the opinion that volunteers have no problem in living and working here in India. The programs are designed in such a way that they are comfortable during their stay in India. He also remarked that most of the requirements of volunteers are looked after by the organization. Cost of conveyance, food, lodging in iSpiice dormitories, Wi-Fi connectivity, cultural programs, pick up and drop at airport; everything is covered by the organization. The volunteers do not have to work throughout the day. They only have to work for four to five hours from Monday to Friday. The company executive said that the short working hours give the volunteers ample time to take a tour of the place. They interact with the locals to learn about the customs and practices of the region. Some of the volunteers might be repeat visitors to India and others might have come to India for the first time. All of them can learn more about India by speaking to the villagers. Even the children and women they teach grow to love them in course of time. The volunteers receive a lot of warmth and affection from the villagers.

iSpiice is not just a place to teach, it is also a place to learn. Volunteers learn lots of things from Indians. The time spent for work programs in India has proven to be worthwhile for most volunteers.
