iSpiice declares February-end Street Children Program

iSpiice in North India is a leading volunteer organization. It has recently announced its February-end program for street children. The program includes teaching, playing and telling stories to the children.

 
iSpiice in Dharamsala, India has announced its street children program February-end. It organizes welfare activities for children and invites volunteers to participate in them. The organization offers volunteers a chance to make a difference in the lives of the less privileged in the Indian society.

In the words of an executive at iSpiice, “We aim to offer a better life to the street children in the community. Our programs are meant to offer education, shelter, food and better living conditions to the children. We campaign against child labour and sexual exploitation of children. The children get an affable atmosphere to study and nurture their qualities.” He added that iSpiice seeks the help of volunteers to address the problems of child discrimination in the country. The organization invites anyone with a caring and fun-loving nature to take part in these street children program. “Our volunteers dedicate themselves to the development and welfare of the street children. They teach, play recreational and educational games and assist in offering nutritious food to the children. Volunteers also tell stories and spend valuable time with the children. They teach English and computer to the street children. The ultimate aim of the volunteers is to bring smiles on the faces of the abandoned children.”

“iSpiice offers many facilities to its volunteers,” said a spokesperson. “We send a representative to the New Delhi airport and arrange accommodations in the city. Our representative accompanies the volunteers to Dharamsala the next day. At the iSpiice office, volunteers get a program manual with a list of the activities they have to do. In Dharamsala, volunteers can stay at the iSpiice Volunteer House. At the iSpiice house, they can avail Internet for communicating with their family and for preparing the lessons for the next day. Volunteers can relax by listening to music and shopping at the local market. Expert chefs prepare healthy Indian meals three times a day. iSpiice offers transport facility to and from the accommodation to the program destination.” He added that the organization offers weekend trips to volunteers. The trips include visits to tea gardens and Masoor Stone Temple. Add-On trips to the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the Himalayas and Manali are also arranged. Volunteers can participate in adventurous sports like white water rafting, trekking, etc. A teach for India volunteer gets books for teaching the children properly. Volunteers also have the liberty to bring their books, if they want to.

iSpiice is trying to build a prosperous future for the young generation of India. With focus on education and care, the organization aims to offer a successful life to the street children. Volunteers too work hard for offering a bright future to the street children.
