After decades of progress in the civilizing of the treatment of mental health in the United States and in other parts of the world, the forces of fear are fighting back. But what do they fear? Creativity, I think, and ultimately Freedom. The individual actions of free people, which are difficult to predict, each being an individual, are terrifying to those who seek order above all.

I will be upfront. I am a Scientologist. This is taken directly from the The Creed of the Church of Scientology:

... "That the study of the mind and the healing of mentally caused ills should not be alienated from religion or condoned in nonreligious fields; and that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights, overtly or covertly." L. Ron Hubbard

In the past few decades some progress has been made in this arena. But now the backers of involuntary institutionalization are appearing in places of power, or at the shoulders of such.

Be aware that as you create in life, and expand boundaries, "By ridicule and many other means, another who is evil-intentioned toward one can try to bring about one's decline." L. Ronald Hubbard. And thus seek to control or contain or suppress you.
Mildly.

Now these forces are seeking again to institutionalize you against your will, with the right to drug you with psychotropics and electro shock you into docility. Fight back.

You are valuable. Before falling prey to the chaos and fear merchants, you might at least look into Scientology and Dianetics.
