On Saturday, July 20th, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Tampa hosted their bimonthly Blood Drive for OneBlood. It was a total success and helped to save 63 lives in our local community.

Volunteers from all over Tampa Bay participated by donating blood. Twenty-one pints of Blood were gathered. Considering that 1 pint of blood saves 3 lives, with 21 pints we are saving 63 lives.

The Church of Scientology Volunteer Ministers have been hosting blood drives for over 25 years and since the Volunteer Minister Center opened, Blood Drives have been done every two months’ rain or shine. Since then over 500 pints of blood have been collected, saving more than 1500 lives.

Judy Fagerman the Volunteer Minister Coordinator from Tampa has worked on these blood drives for 18 years in the area. She loves to promote the blood drives stating how each donation saves 3 lives and is a great way to give back to the local Community. When you donate you are giving the gift of life!
