Chris R., Valley Hope alumnus, has created a tool for people in recovery to keep busy and stay sober. Based on his own experience in treatment several years ago, and his love for the sober slogans, he was inspired to create a resource to support the recovery community.

‘Everyone told me in treatment, idle hands are the devil’s playground; to stay busy and remember the sober slogans’ said Chris R. “I was worried about staying sober on Friday and Saturday nights, so I created a deck of playing cards that would keep me occupied, while reflecting on these great inspirational sayings.” Chris continued, “Several years after having a spiritual awakening, these sober slogans are a huge part of my recovery. My hope is that these cards will inspire others and help keep them sober”
