Dr. Eslami has given me a life that i thought i could never have. I have been overweight since childhood and never knew what thin was. I continued to struggle with my weight as an adult, and was unsuccessful at dieting. I had my surgery Aug 3, 2011. I have lost 110 pounds and have been maintaining the loss for the past 18 months! I could have never done it without the support and encouragement from Dr. Eslami and his staff!

I had Gastric bypass surgery on June 27th 2012. My wife Heather had the same surgery 6 weeks prior. I weighed over 270#. I was on cholesterol medications, pre-diabetic and had sleep apnea. Now 6 months and 100# later, I am no longer on meds and I feel great. My wife and I are able to coachboth of our sons soccer teams this year and are looking forward to living the rest of our lives healthier and slimmer.

I had the Roux-En-Y gastric bypass on 6/8/11 and at the time I weighed 245 lbs with a BMI of 38. I had diabetes, high cholestrol, and severe arthritis in my knees that I needed a disabled placcard to park. Now, I'm at 145 lbs with a BMI of 23, I'm able to walk 3 miles a day and I'm taking NO medications. Dr. Eslami changed my life with bariatric surgery. I know this sounds cliche, but Dr. Eslami had not only given me my life back, but given me a whole new life. I'm healthier and more active than I've been in the past 20 - 25 years. I think I was in junior high school the last time my waist was this size. It's exciting to be able to by clothes off the rack and not have to pay a premium for the plus sizes and be able to find stylish clothes that fit and not having to accept things that fit. I have more confidence now which has helped me in my professional life. Instead of going quietly to the back of the room, I'm more outgoing and approachable. I know Dr. Eslami gave me the tools, now I am just using them to better my quaility of life. I would strongly urge anybody that is having health or emotional issues due tho their weight to at least sit down and have a consultation with Dr. Eslami. I would do it again tomorrow. Prior to surgery I heard many horror stories, family and friends tried to discourage me from having the surgery, I am so glad I used my better judgement and had the procedure. It has given me my life back.

This is, by far, the hardest lifestyle change I have experienced. I had the Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass. In 18 months, I have lost 112 lbs, no more high blood pressure, GERD, and my thryoid is normal. Meds have pretty much gone by the wayside. Exercise, such as walking up and down stairs are so easy. No more loss of breath. I have experienced a reaction to the protein powders, so I have to rely on my diet to ensure my protein levels.
