Hi my name is Robyn. I would like to thank Dr. Eslami and his staff for giving me my life back. I had my surgery in March 2011 with a starting weight of 322 pounds. Since my surgery I have lost over 150 pounds. Having Gastric Bypass Surgery was the best decision I have ever made in my life. I thought about having surgery about 10 years ago and was not mentally prepared and couldn’t find a surgeon I connected with. Dr. Eslami is an awesome surgeon. Right from the start he made me feel comfortable and he is extremely knowledgeable. There are so many things I am able to do now like cross my legs, get on the floor and play with my son, lift weights and go zip lining. I even compete in 5K runs now. I continue to attend monthly support meetings through Dr. Eslami's office and feel they are very beneficial for my ongoing success. Thank you Dr. Eslami you have given me my life back. I had Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass on June 20, 2012 and I've lost 112 pounds. I pinch myself every day because I can't believe this is real. This surgery has given me the confidence to live a healthy life. I used to have high blood pressure, sleep apnea and my blood sugar level was borderline diabetic. I would wake up sore and tired. I now have endless energy and look forward to going to the gym. I no longer use my C Pap machine and am no longer on any medication for high blood pressure. The pictures speak volumes. prior to surgery I had high blood pressure, high everything, I also needed foot surgery, now all is good and I no longer take the mass quantity of prescription medication, that ultimately, due to obesity caused the need for these medications but because I decided to proceed with Bariatric Surgery I am medication free.
