Whistler is not just a must-visit place for skiers, snowboarders, and outdoorsy people. It’s also an art lover’s haven. There are many places where you can see and marvel at beautiful art.

If you want to include an art trip in your Whistler itinerary, you might want to check out these places:
1. Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre
This is the place to go to if you want to learn more about local aboriginal culture. There are so many things to learn about the first people who lived in this place. But aside from history, you can also see a Whistler best art gallery inside. They have both temporary and permanent art exhibitions.
2. Audain Art Museum
This art gallery in Whistler houses more than 200 artworks from notable artists like Jef Wall and Emily Carr. If you are lucky, you might also be in the area in time for the exhibitions they usually hold.
3. Black Tusk Gallery
This art gallery has indigenous art curated from different countries. You can see original Inuit and Plains art in this gallery. So while enjoying the art, you get to enjoy some history as well.
4. Whistler Village Art Gallery
This art gallery also has sculptures and photos in addition to the paintings. They also occasionally organize events to showcase local talents.
These are just some of the places you should visit for some art. In addition to these galleries, you can also check out the Adele Campbell Fine Art Gallery and the Gallery at Maury Young Arts Centre.
