Ms. Archana Surana, who is the Founder and Director of ARCH College of Design and Business, Jaipur has been the flag bearer of the Global Mentoring Walk since 2011 and the Founder of Women’s Mentor Forum at Jaipur in 2014 with the view of bringing together ladies from different sectors and empowering them to face the challenges of life.

In Jaipur, the Mentoring Walk was held at the Polo Ground near Central Park on the morning of 10th March. Senior IAS officer Mugdha Sinha was the Guest of Honor at this event.Nivedita Sarda, Executive Chair of the Women’s Mentor Forum, Jaipur headed this event.Anita Bhadel, who is the Minister for Child and Woman Welfare in Government of Rajasthan launched the poster of this event along with Smt. Suman Sharma, Chairperson, Rajasthan Women Commission. Squash player Surbhi Mishra and Leela Bordia of Neerja International Inc. were the special guests at this event.
After the 45 minutes’ walk, mentors and mentees shared their experience with the group. Many felt that this is one of a kind forum which leads to instant comfort and friendship in sharing with their mentors and they are committed to continue this relationship for the entire year. The young professional mentees were extremely pleased to be paired with a mentor from their own field. Honorary Patron of the forum and MLA, Princess Diya Kumari sent her best wishes for the International Women’s Day walk.
