The Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers is a localized branch of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. This organization dedicates itself to serving and promoting the ideals and interests of criminal defense attorneys in Central Florida. In 2002, shortly after being admitted to the Florida Bar Association, attorney Shon Douctre, a graduate of the Barry University School of Law, joined the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Recently, Shon Douctre celebrated his tenth anniversary with the organization at a small gathering of friends and family in Orlando, Florida. “I am honored to have been a member of this prestigious and respected organization for the past decade” said Shon Douctre. Shon Douctre elaborated that he “looks forward to [his] future with the members.”

Many of Shon Douctre’s friends and colleagues toasted his success as a criminal defense attorney in Central Florida. They were especially complementary about his work as a DUI defense specialist. Shon Douctre has dedicated much of his career to defending people who have been arrested and charged under the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances. Shon Douctre is so convicted in his vocation that he became a certified operator and maintenance technician for Breathalyzer Intoxilyzer machines. Shon Douctre became certified in 2004, just two short years after he was made a member of the Central Florida Criminal Defense Association. As technology changes, Shon Douctre educates himself on the latest machinery and case law.
