Don’t Rely on Illicit Property Management Service: Services2NRI

As being a wise advisor of NRIs, Services2 NRI advocates for avoiding property management services in India. Lack of prominent renting rule & many other complexities may lead to unending trifles.

The practice of property management services is mushrooming in India. In metro cities, it’s a fashion. However, real-estate organizations are famous to bridge the gap between the tenants and house-owners. They claim to take care of old and new property management services. But unfortunately, they say ‘sorry’ to intercept later in any accommodation-based conflict.

Services 2NRI acts as an informed friend of non-residents. Defaulters are appreciating in number. So, it’s no less than a heinous war to vacate the house once it is accommodated. It’s noteworthy that no subletting is legal according to Indian law. Every state has constituted its own law relating to the rent, such as the Karnataka Rent Act 1999. Some real-estate organisations have driven wrong assumption that the absence of such rule determines allowing the subletting.

The new service of property management offers house for rent to the bachelors. It fetches a good amount if leased out in the plush locality. And if the tenants are bachelors, they would prefer to stay with the pair or group. This practice, eventually, stems trifles with the owner, especially the non-residents. And later, such fights turn ugly in the form of litigation.
Mostly, the real-estate organizations charge a major share in the total rent. And since they require quick money, they accommodate the tenants in less money. When comparing to the market rate, it comes out very low. Such kind of rental services seed monopoly of some prominent agents. By taking advantage of this position, they manipulate the rental market. The terms and conditions are mainly formulated by them. But lack of proper legal knowledge catches the house owners as their prey. They charge 2% to 10% of the monthly rental. And even, impose opaque rules.

According to the head of Services to NRI, “Legally, it’s invalid to keep the rules and regulations of the rent agreement under cover. The real-estate agents must share it openly with the owner. However, the foreign countries have proper governing rule of renting. They follow it with transparency and as a mandate. But here in India, it’s just a frolic. The governing rules of property management are modified desirably. Today, we need a proper architecture wherein transparency should be there. Thereby, no fraud can take rise.”
