Semyx launches new 240 & 5100H COBRA series water jet cutting machines on raised tanks, allowing setup times and costs to be significantly reduced.

Pure water jet cutters raised to new heights! DALTON, GA — June 18, 2015 — Semyx is proud to announce the immediate availability of its newly added sizes of COBRA® Series waterjet cutting machines. The same functionality and speed of the COBRA waterjet cutting series is now offered in portable, raised tables.
Special Linear Drive Belt:Cutting with Pure Water:Higher Speed and Acceleration:

As with all products of the COBRA Series, the new 240 & 5100H machines are created with linear drive belts that are designed for the highest accuracy and speed possible. In addition, the COBRA Series machines cut using pure water. This precise process allows the water jet to be finer than 0.2 millimeters, creating sharp lines and contours. Combined with a high cutting speed of 0–60m/min, the COBRA series machines are ideal for textile applications such as carpet and foam and have been used on artificial turf fields for the MLS, NCAA, and NFL.

The COBRA 240 & 5100H each offer raised tables which sit on custom designed water tanks. This unique feature creates a portable solution with the same outstanding results as any of Semyx’s COBRA Series machines. The other COBRA Series machines are available as pit installations due to their massive size and material handling capabilities.
