Everton Football Club is launching a charity calendar featuring members of the first-team squad as they have never been seen before.The Toffees have decided to show off their sweeter side and pose topless for a limited edition 2013 calendar.Entitled 12 Shades of Blue, the calendar will raise money for the Club's official charity Everton in the Community during its 25th anniversary campaign, which was announced this week.
12 Shades of Blue features fans' favourites such as Tim Howard, Marouane Fellaini and Kevin Mirallas, who were all keen to strip off to help raise cash for our charity.The Club's official Twitter page revealed the news on Tuesday evening and shortly after#12shadesofblue' was trending in the UK on the popular social networking site.
Pre-orders immediately came flying in, with many Evertonians having Christmas in mind for their friends and family.Available from Thursday 22 November and priced at just £10, the calendar, which is kindly supported by Paddy Power and Wild Thang Ltd, is the first of its kind to be created by a Premier League club.
Everton and USA goalkeeper Howard was eager to support the project and said: Shooting the calendar was lots of fun and myself and the other boys were happy to help out.It's a great feeling to do something to help other people and I hope sales of the calendar raise a good amount for the charity.
