In January 2018, the UK commercial property market saw an increase in the rental values by 0.1 per cent on average across the UK.

The UK industrial sector has continued to boost the capital growth results by outperforming other major sectors with a capital growth of 0.7 per cent in January 2018. The growth of the industrial sector was observed to be the strongest in the South East of the country. There was a capital growth of 0.8 per cent and also an increase in the rental values by 0.4 per cent over the month.

Industrialists in the rest of the country have observed a capital growth and rental growth of 0.4 per cent and 0.1 per cent respectively. Additionally, the capital values in the office sector have seen an increase of 0.2 per cent over the last month. On the other hand, the rental values decreased -0.1 per cent across the sector.
