Acting and comics are two of the most difficult art forms to master. The majority of the people are unable to master any of the aforementioned professions; however, there is just a handful of those who are not only talented actors but also have a fantastic sense of humor. We decided to talk about three of the most notable personalities to ever grace the stage or a TV screen:
ROBIN WILLIAMS:
Williams was an American actor and a standup comedian. He got fame with his role as an alien called, “Mark” in the TV series Mork Mindy. Williams went on to have a successful stand-up comedy and feature film acting career that consisted of praise-worthy movies like Popeye (1980) and The World According to Garp (1982) were two of his most well-known flicks. Good morning, Vietnam (1987) and a slew of others. He also had some of the most well-received stand-up performances throughout his career.
Williams struggled with depression all his life, as well as drug and alcohol abuse. He was discovered dead on August 11, 2014, at his home in Paradise Cay, near Tiburon, California, after committing suicide by hanging himself.
JANET ROTH:
Janet Roth is a stand-up comedian and actor with a terrific sense of humor. She began her acting career at the age of eight in Goethe's Walpurgis Night and fell in love with acting after earning a role in the film -going to Los Angeles when she was only a teenager.
She began training with superior acting coaches after completing her degree to further refine her acting skills and then, later on, discovered her passion for standup comedy after some unexpected incidents. She mingled her sarcasm with her stories and quips, and the crowd eventually embraced it. Janet gained a large following in a short amount of time. Janet Roth (https://www.youtube.com/c/JanetRoth) has uploaded all of her shows to her YouTube channel. Flapper, Few Words on Porn, Soviet Girls Next Door, and many others are among her most popular videos. Janet understands how to utilize just the proper amount of sarcasm in her jokes to keep the audience laughing throughout the performance. Picasso's Women and Vagina Monologues were two of her LA theatrical appearances, in which she played Francoise Gilot, one of Picasso's wives, and a Bosnian woman who survived rape and war.
Sarah Silverman:
Sarah is a stand-up comedian, actress, and writer from the United States. Her stand-up comedy mostly dealt with racism, sexism, homophobia, politics, and religion. She has, however, appeared in several excellent films, one of which being "I Smile Back."
Silverman was a cast member of Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the first 18 weeks of her career, however, she was sacked after 18 weeks. She wrote a lot of sketches, but none of them were ever broadcasted.
Her social media accounts, particularly Instagram @sarahkatesilverman (https://www.instagram.com/sarahkatesilverman/?hl=en), are constantly updated with information about her work.
Many say that the greatest charity to mankind is to be able to put a smile on someone’s face and these exceptional artists had spent their life bringing you joy and laughter through the words they have spoken over the years. The reason for writing this blog was to pay tribute to these great performers and tell our audience about them and we would look forward to sharing about other talented comedians as time passes.
