Investment in new facilities and physical resources has increased growth opportunities with flexibility. These new additions are expected not only to improve product quality but also to upgrade machinery as well.

Crescent Foundry was established in 1982 and exports to over fifty countries with products
of international standards currently. This India based company has been in business for the
last 35 years with the position of one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of Ductile
Iron and Cast Iron castings.
To move ahead with excellence, Crescent understands how important it is to invest in both
physical and technological resources to remain relevant in the market. At the same time, it
helps to gain a competitive advantage in today’s highly dynamic business scenario. The
progress so far has been so good that the company has succeeded to establish more
meaningful business relationships with an expansion from 50 crores to 350 crores in sales this
year. Due to the increased profit scale, various investment opportunities have opened up for
the Crescent Foundry in recent years.
With profitable business deals, as the exporter and manufacturer of airport
manholes & counterweights, they have started to retain both the national and international
clients for longer terms. It has made them free of all debts whatsoever. Investment in new
facilities has increased growth opportunities with more flexibility in operations. These new
additions are expected not only to improve product quality but also to upgrade machinery as
well. The trimming press has been included in the infrastructure to do fettling. Besides, a
CMM machine has been installed for accurate measurements too. Apart from technical
investments, physical investments have been considered on priority. External consultants are
hired to improve the quality of the products and services while upgrading in-house patterns
for all plants.
Moreover, their special line for GATIC covers required a particular kind of machining and
assembly. Without thinking further, Crescent Foundry has invested in a team of experts and
new machinery for more seamless operations. Besides, the existing product development
team has undergone a necessary training programme to learn designing techniques for the
GATIC covers and assemblies. A separate team has been assigned to help clients with
assembling and installing the manhole covers. Additional investments have been made to
make sure the team has the right expertise on executing tests ensuring zero chances of failure.
Now, the foundry has a spray painting line too that provides epoxy paint for the manhole
covers.
As estimated, these investments will surely bring expected returns boosting both individual
and collective growth. Apart from technology, investing in physical resources has various
benefits. It keeps the team motivated to do better at their jobs, and allows them to become
better versions of themselves contributing to company growth at the same time. Newly
developed technological solutions and installing advanced facilities not only make the entire
planning or execution easier but also desired results are achieved in the manufacturing units.
Shipping commitments remain intact with error-free logistics maintenance making
Crescent Foundry one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of airport manholes in
all sizes and even multi-part covers with beams.
With recent investments, Crescent Foundry wants to make a notable impact on the market.
With 35 years of experience in the industry, they aim to establish more meaningful and long-
term business relationships and continue to adapt to new technologies for improving product
quality along with achieving efficiency.
