Ryan Weir recently bought out his business partner Hamish Walker to become the sole owner of Walker Weir Property Management. The duo co-founded the company in 2012 and worked hard to provide clients the best property management service in Auckland. However, four years down the road, Weir bought the company and became its sole owner. Following the buyout, he plans to take the company further by expanding and opening franchises all across Auckland.

Since the launching of the business in 2012, Ryan Weir has worked hard to build a solid reputation by providing a wide range of property management services to clients in Auckland. The company has been featured on NZ Herald, Newstalk ZB, NZ Property Investor magazine including various other media sources. Following the introduction of the Walker Weir Rental Tender into the New Zealand rental property market in late 2012, the company has become a hit with landlords. Weir’s rental guarantee to landlords to find high-quality tenants was an instant success giving the company the positive feedback it needed.

Weir was born in Invercargill but grew up in Christchurch, and Dunedin, New Zealand. After graduating from high school, he decided against going to university and instead started working in a kitchen. He worked at his job for six months and used this money to travel around Australia. While in Australia, he worked in a hostel and decided to travel around Asia for six months. After returning from his trip to Asia, he started working in a bank.

At the age of thirteen, Weir had his first experience with starting a business. He designed and developed a portable coffee furnace which he carried on his back and sold coffee to spectators at sports grounds. His business model became so successful that he hired people to work for him, and was even featured in the local newspaper.

Ryan Weir has worked hard to build the company and is committed to providing clients with a wide range of property management services.
