I play with Franchise. And have not upgraded to MLB The Show since there have not been any updates to it. I enjoy customizing your roster to fit philosophy and your game plan and producing teams which are your own. This can be a more in depth process compared to most casual fans would like, but they have Diamond Dynasty and are getting many updates. I don't enjoy the thought of my established Franchise being controlled by a storyline. Sure, the simulation part of it will help to an extent, but I am perfectly fine with placing my lineup then simulating to the end of MLB The Show 19 when I want to grab up move faster through seasons. And yes, the ability to enter into and exit the March Mode is a must for prospective Franchise orientation.
