Why is Gatherer Path OSRS planned?

OSRS Combat Path was released on August 8th 2019 to help newer players settle into the game, which gives players a series of early starting milestones with a few sensible rewards. As both data and feedback have shown the develop team that the Combat path is a right choice, they are keen to expand OSRS Adventure Path system even further, which leads to what is called the Gatherer Path.
This week some lucky new players will be invited to test out this Gatherer Path.

Details of the Gatherer Path OSRS

The Gatherer Path will cover things like quests and various non-combat skills. It will introduce the Fishing, Woodcutting and Mining skills, and guide new players to level 5 in each. The Gatherer Path will help players with suggestions about where they can train these skills and how to get the tools for training.
In fact the Combat Path is quite long, which will lead players all the way up to level 20. With the Gatherer Path guiding players to level 5 in the associated skills, the team is keen to keep experimenting with this.
