Hotfix has been made to Fluid Strikes OSRS based on its issue in Trailblazer League. Read the information below for some details.

Issue on Fluid Strikes OSRS relic

According to the latest Leagues II - Trailblazer: Fluid Strikes Hotfix official blog, the issue on Fluid Strikes OSRS has been found by the develop team. As one of OSRS Trailblazer relics, Fluid Strikes isn't interacting as intended with NPC attacks where the damage is based on players’ maximum HP level. This is allowing players to bypass certain boss mechanics such as the Pestilent Bloat's stomp attack, Verzik Vitur's green ball or Sotetseg's red ball. If someone was at 15 HP they would have always taken 13 damage from attacks, whereas they should have received fatal damage as intended.

Fixes to Fluid Strikes OSRS

Based on the issue mentioned above, the develop team has applied a hotfix to the live game. With the hotfix now Fluid Strikes only applies its damage reduction effect if the damage players would have taken was less than their current HP. For example:
If one player has 74 HP, an attack deals 74 damage.
If one player has 75 HP, an attack deals 74 damage. Fluid Strikes will reduce it to 63 damage.
Although the team tries to avoid making any changes mid-League, they consider this unintended interaction to be a bug and make the hotfix.
