Well-known broadcast journalist, Katherine Welnhofer stepped into her career as a Production Assistant at Bloomberg through a weekday program called ‘In Business.’ This daily show covered the top economic, political, and global financial news. She later became an Associate Producer on Fox Business Network’s leading show ‘Mornings with Maria.’

Katherine Welnhofer attended New Trier High School and then went on to study Broadcast Journalism at the Medill School of Journalism. She did well in her courses and graduated in four years in June 2008. Katherine is also a certified spinning instructor. She received a certificate in spinning in 2015, and also landed a job teaching a 45-minute spinning class at Tribeca Health and Fitness in lower Manhattan for three months. In 2011, she ran a half marathon with the New York Road Runners, and plans to run more races this year.

She is a 2008 graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. Currently, she volunteers with PAWs. As a fitness enthusiast, she enjoys activities like swimming, rollerblading, walking, running, hiking, and spinning in her free time.
