Katherine Welnhofer is a former Associate Producer on Fox Business Network’s show ‘Mornings with Maria’ (Bartiromo). A graduate of Northwestern University, Katherine started her career in 2009 as a Production Assistant at Bloomberg on the show ‘In Business with Margaret Brennan’. It was a weekday program broadcast live from New York City that covered the top economic, political, & global financial news impacting the marketplace. In the following years, she was a part of shows like CNBC’s ‘Fast Money’, the CBS syndicated show ‘Inside Edition’, ABC’s ‘Good Afternoon America’, and BET’s ‘Don’t Sleep!’ (With host T. J. Holmes).

Currently, Katherine Welnhofer volunteers with PAWs, an organization committed to making the world a better place for animals and people. In the past, she has volunteered for Minds Matter as a writing and critical thinking tutor helping students from low-income families learn to write essays, and preparing them to go to college.

She is a 2008 graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. Currently, she volunteers with PAWs. Being a fitness enthusiast, in her free time she enjoys activities, like swimming, rollerblading, walking, running, hiking, and spinning.
