Ronald Kister is a successful IT professional in Mount Sinai, New York. He has been working in the IT industry for nearly twenty years. After successfully working for a number of school districts in New York, he was given the opportunity to go into business for himself. In 2013, he made the decision to become an entrepreneur and started his own IT consulting firm, RKJ Consulting. As the principal owner of the firm, Kister has worked directly with stakeholders and different levels of numerous organizations to define and prioritize operational and technical deficiencies.

He has trained more than two thousand professionals, imparting his knowledge and experience to help increase efficiency and improve overall job performance at numerous businesses throughout New York. Kister has a proven track record of delivering client programs and projects.

Ronald Kister has an extensive background in Information Technologies. After graduating high school in Sayville, New York, he enrolled at the State University of New York at Oswego. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Technology Education K-12, in December of 1999. In 2004, while working as a Technology Teacher in the Harborfields Central School District, he enrolled at the Stony Brook University of New York in pursuit of his Masters in Educational Computing. He graduated in 2004, immediately enrolling at Long Island University where he earned his second Masters in School District Administration.

Ronald Kister was born and raised in Sayville, New York. He worked as a Lifeguard for more than twenty years, splitting his time between Smith Point County Beach and Mastic Beach in New York. When he isn’t helping businesses address their IT issues, he can be found playing the guitar and helping his friends and family fix things that stop working. He loves working on his house and is an active volunteer for the annual Shwachman Diamond Dash for a Cure and Mitch’s Run. He travels to Connecticut every year to participate in the Breast Cancer Walk for a Cause.
