Available for crowd sourcing on Indiegogo.com, The Magatron is set to launch by December 2016, right before Christmas hits, starting at $12usd (+ shipping). The ideal gift for techies, globetrotters and those who travel for work, The Magatron will be essential for anyone who travels.

Magatron came to life when the Founder of the company, Kit was on holidays, in hopes to travel to a few different countries with his wife and 2 year old daughter. He is a designer by trade, running his own branding agency. Naturally (as all businessmen would), he brought along his trusty Macbook, his Magsafe, and 3 different adapters for the countries he was visiting.

Kit packed up after their first destination and headed to the next. As soon as they reached the next, he realized that his adorable baby girl was playing hide and seek with the other two adapters. To his misfortune, the adapters hid and will never be found. Exasperated, he ran to the nearest Apple store the very next morning to replace the two bulky adapters for the rest of his travels.

After returning from his trip, he tried looking for something that would be more travel-friendly and he could simply slip in his pocket when he wasn’t using them. Surprised that he found nothing available on the market, he decided to design one himself. For this very product, he enlisted this design to a product designer, an electrical engineer expert and a team of seasoned marketing specialists to bring this baby to life.

Today, thanks to Kit, say goodbye to bulky adapters! You will always have a Magsafe adapter that will be compatible no matter where life takes you.

To make this long lasting and durable, the makers have sourced a premium injection steel molds and tooling to ensure the quality of the product.

Kit says, “We hope Magatron will be your travel companion for a long time to come. I have been using the prototype we have made in May, using it while traveling, working from coffee shops and basically anywhere else. I am proud to say that, this is a winner.”
