Movie Plotline Demonstrates How Innocence Sometimes Means Nothing

Burbank, Calif. Dec. 17, 2015 :– One minute a police detective thinks he has his life together and headed in the right direction and the next everything changes and what he thinks is a normal routine quickly becomes anything but.

Life gets turned upside down and through its unique storytelling, the movie Injunctions leads movie goers on a thrilling journey that ends up challenging the assumption that innocence means nothing. People can say that they are not guilty with their words, but if their actions show otherwise, conflict arises.

Injunctions examines the life of a detective who lets his personal feelings and strong emotions for a woman get tangled up in his police work.

This detective is searching for a known drug dealer when by chance he ends up face-to-face with a females suspect. When she claims she is innocent, the detective believes her innocence and falls head over heels in love. With his job at risk, he begins a sordid relationship with the female that negatively impacts his police work.

Despite trying to keep the relationship under wraps to protect the woman he loves, his police colleagues discover that the suspect is armed. In a dramatic scene not to be missed, they shoot her dead and the detective is soon arrested for obstructing justice and interfering with a police investigation.

Problems ensue when police officers are notified – in court no less – that the female suspect was indeed telling the truth. The mother of two street-wise kids, it is revealed that she was simply used by gangs to sell the drugs.

To try and rectify the situation, the police detective is released from custody and he sets

out to find her children and take care of them as if they were his own.
