Burbank, Calif. (December 17, 2015) - Hollywood is full of stories about lovers who have to overcome great obstacles in order to be together. None of those plots, however, are quite like what viewers will experience in the new film project CyberDome.

In this futuristic sci-fi action flick, two star-crossed lovers face serious consequences when their love transcends enemy lines. They ignore the wishes of their families and defy government officials just to see each other, hold the other in their arms and spend a few fleeting passionate moments together.

Their romance was doomed from the start when war broke out after creatures from another planet invaded Earth and threatened everyone’s way of life. Lives were lost, historic structures ruined and life as citizens knew it was never the same again. In order to end the turmoil, a tenuous treaty is agreed to that requires neither side cohort with the other.

The lovers break that treaty and the promise of a peaceful future when they begin a steamy romance. When their deception is unveiled, the bonds of their relationship threaten to re-ignite the ferocious intergalactic battle that was long ago put to rest after the brutal war.

The film stars Chloe Berman as the main love interest and heroine. The screenplay was written by Darwin Carlisle and the story is written, produced and directed by Al Hallak, who has worked on numerous award-winning film projects include the sci-fi project The Paradigm that earned The Award of Excellence from the LA Movie Awards in 2010.

Filming is under way now. The film is scheduled to be released in May 2018.
