This week the Australian Federal Government announced a number of core policy initiatives to drive the innovation sector.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Australian Government is backing innovation as the mining boom slows. This week the Federal government announced a series of support mechanisms to promote innovation and novel products. As we exit the mining boom, innovation will need to play an increasingly important role in lifting Australia’s productivity and economic growth. Boosting innovation and entrepreneurship will create jobs and stimulate growth, and will position Australians to take advantage of new technologies and opportunities.

Noticed early by Ann Sudmalis from the Federal Government, DSYNC was invited to innovation meetings at Australia’s Parliament House in Canberra to discuss the sector and the support mechanisms available. DSYNC held meetings with Ann Sudmalis and the Innovation Hon Minister Christopher Pyne and Hon Wyatt Roy.

This is not the first time Simon Church and Martin Novak have been involved with a world class technology product as the pair are alumni from Temando. Temando is known as one of Australia’s fastest growing technology companies assisting online retailers with shipping. This year Temando received a significant cash injection from French company Neopost boosting Temando’s reach into overseas markets.
