Press Release Body:

Venial is about a women who loses her husband in an early 19th century war and turns her back on her faith and her children. She suffers from hallucinations and eventually becomes taken over by a demon in her own home.

She’s in despair. Total despair. It’s 1945 and she has just learned her husband did not survive the war. Nevertheless, she attempts to continue on with her life, raising her two children, Peter and Helen.

A very powerful and atmospheric supternatural thriller that might not have all the answers to what's going on ... and that, really, is part of its strength. Ciminera’s strength is locations and he picked this one as a winner

The acting and wardrobe was perfect for this movie. Not to mention the accents hitting it spot on. The entire cast performed almost perfectly together.

Venial is a scary psychological thriller that keeps you wanting more until the end where the unexpected twist is the real treat. It’s a must see for 2015 horror fans.
