July 2nd 2021 – Olivia Lawrence, the head of Web Development at Reckon Media LTD Announced today that their brand was going through a process of revitalization. She proclaimed “it isn’t because we are outdated, but because like to stay ahead of the curve.” Given the current state of the digital market, with crypto crashes and changing trends, the move from this digital marketing agency comes at a crucial time. “We are aware of the pace that the market moves.” She continued. “And, overnight, things can change drastically, trends die down and the norms become obsolete with the blink of an eye.” During recent events, particularly post-Covid online marketing, the trends have changed drastically, which threatens many brands and agencies to fall of the rail. “This change comes at a time when we think we needed it, and so did our clients.” She said with excitement. “While the change isn’t really big, nor are we changing our core values. It is about providing our customers, new and old, with the best, and the latest possible of the industry.”

The company has around since the late 2014s. However, they have a reputation of changing things up and keeping them fresh for their clients. “Oh, absolutely. We have always welcomed changed and this is something Reckon Media has thrived on.” Lawrence added, when asked about their consistency with change. “I think our strength is that we don’t stay too long in one place. We understand the changing norms of the industry. So, our expansion as well as this change in our approach has more to do with that.” Reckon Media last went through such a change back in 2018, when they expanded their services around UK and US.

While Lawrence had much more to say about their company’s change, their Frontend Web Developer and one of the founding members Anthony had something to say too. “I think the reason that Reckon Media stays two steps ahead of competition and clientele is because of our foresight.” He chuckled, then continued. “But, no seriously. This is something that we have always paid attention to.” He alluded to the fact that their company changes approach every now and then, and continued. “We always keep ourselves checked in with what goes on around us in the industry.” When asked about the intensity of their change and what this included, Anthony added “Oh the revamp has more to do with our eco-friendliness, as well as our new approach of visually-focused attributes of online solutions.”

A study suggested in recent years that people are visual learners. So much so that our attention spans are equal to that of a goldfish. Which is roughly around 8 seconds. This is why, the change that Reckon Media is alluding to is the fact that their services are based more towards visual content than before. But, they have various other services, and most of them were present at the event. One of which is their lead UI\UX designer Richard Carey.

“Oh I’d like to think so.” He snickered when asked if he knew much about the requirement of visual content these days. “I mean, if you look at the pattern at which the digital world is moving, it is all about visual content.” He added to his company’s new motto. “The reason behind this revamp of our ideas as well as our approach is because we needed something valuable to offer to our clients.” He continued. “Over the course of past few years, I have consistent requests from our clients where they ask for more images, more videos etc. And, when you think about changing SEO, as well as the general behaviour of the audience in the online world, it only makes sense.” Back in November 2020, Google introduced new bylaws regarding SEO. Which meant that content wouldn’t’ show up in search results if they had no value to offer. “That is something that shook the digital world – and, for the better, I’d say.”

While the topic of SEO popped up, their primary SEO expert Stephanie Klima chimed in. “SEO is the key that holds everything together in the online world.” When asked if the change their company is going through is more about SEO, she added “I think some part of it is, yeah. But, most of it is about how we generally work. We have always preferred change and revitalization of the way we do things, than becoming stale for our clients.” This decision comes in a time when a string of digital marketing companies have gone through difficult times. While their numbers suggest that Reckon Media is doing well financially and in terms of client numbers, their forward thinking is surely a welcome sight.

Klima added “But, I think our change is more about our expansion than the way we do things around here. Sure, we are going to prefer visual content more, but our services aren’t exclusive to UK anymore.” Since the beginning, the UK-based digital marketing agency has provided services to clients from around the globe. With most of their foreign clientele being from US and Australia. “We wished to be closer to our clients from foreign countries. So, we are launching a helpline, customer service as well as round the clock shifts to help serve our clients from around the world.”

While the company has made a name for itself in past few years and they are surely on their way to more success, the change and revitalization of the way they do things is only projected to add more to it. Moreover, the way that things have changed in the online world recently, the change of their central ideas have certainly put them in good terms with their clients as well as their potential future customers.
