U.S. Life Insurance Ranking 2022

The new Life Insurance ratings for 2022 have just been released by RealRate.
These are the top three US life insurers with the best financial health, measured by Economic Capital Ratio:

1. UTG - 23.34%
2. GLOBE LIFE - 22.51%
3. ATLANTIC AMERICAN - 21.41%

Universal Guaranty (or UTG) top the billing this year, followed by another stalwart of the life insurance sector, Globe Life. 85 year-old Atlantic American certainly has a long history in the industry, and takes 3rd spot this year. Compared to the last year's rating, Atlantic American and UTG have switched places with Globe Life remaining in 2nd spot.
