The purpose of a suppressor cover is to prevent the heat haze from getting in the way of and distorting the image of the sight that is located in front of the scope of the rifle. The secondary purpose of this cover, or wrap, is to prevent accidental injury from contact with the hot suppressor. Additionally, if you’re in combat or in a situation where you may need to evade detection from an opponent that is using thermal imaging, a suppressor cover will also mask your heat signature, which will make it more difficult for your opponent to spot you.

These all-important items are therefore something that every shooter needs, whether you’re in the military, a hunter, or merely a hobbyist that likes to practice long-range shooting at a range.
