National Carriers is pleased to announce lease purchase operator, Ricky Hennis has been named Driver of the Month for May, 2014. National Carriers uses a strict criteria when choosing a driver of the month. Hennis met or exceeded all requirements which determines National Carriers Driver of the Month.

National Carriers Operations Manager, David Hembree stated, “Ricky Hennis will receive a bonus check for $500 from National Carriers at our terminal in Irving, TX. When our selection committee called him, Ricky was on the road making a delivery. He was surprised and elated to be chosen. This has been a goal of his for quite some time. He is now eligible for the Driver of the Year award for 2014.”

National Carriers load planner, Scott Crane nominated Hennis, citing his superior work ethic and positive attitude. His nomination was seconded by his Driver Manager, Debra Gilbert.

Hennis joined National Carriers in June of 2012 through the NCI Truck Leasing division. He recently completed his lease and was given the opportunity to choose between purchasing his truck and leasing a newer truck. He received a lease completion bonus of $ 2,178.49.
