IPL 2020 suspended till further notice - BCCI

On Thursday, the Indian Cricket Board confirmed that the IPL 2020 is suspended till further notice and it will only take place once the things return to normal. The decision is taken by all the stakeholders, said Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary, BCCI in a press release.

Sri Lanka Cricket Board offers to host IPL 2020

Amid this outbreak as the BCCI took the decision to suspend IPL 2020 till further notice, Sri Lanka Cricket Board president Shammi Silva said that SLC is ready to host IPL here as they have very nominal cases and then things will get back to normal very soon.

A BCCI official denied the claim and said, "There is no proposal from SLC yet and obviously no discussion,”.

Graeme Smith appointed as South Africa director of cricket

The former South African captain Graeme Smith has been appointed as the permanent director of Cricket for 2 years. He was earlier named as an acting director but after he was named permanent he said: "I am determined to get South African cricket back to where it belongs as one of the world leaders at international level,".
