New OTT Web Series And Movies This Weekend
The final week of April brings to you numerous fascinating movies and web series that premiered on OTT platforms like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney plus Hotstar, and many more.

Several thrilling and action-filled web series will be released on the OTT platforms, ranging from Priyanka Chopra's spy thriller Citadel to Christian Convery and Nonso Anozie's Sweet Tooth 2.

If we talk of the movies, there are several thrillers upcoming on the OTT platforms after making a splash at the box office. This includes movies like Dasara and Ved. New movies like U-Turn and Thuramukhan will also be making their big appearance on the OTT platforms.

Citadel
Citadel is a series which stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. The first two episodes of the spy series will be aired on April 28. The new episodes of the series will be aired every Friday till May 26. In Citadel, Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra appears in the character of Nadia Singh while Richard Madden portrays the character of Mason Kane.
As per the show's narrative, the autonomous international spy agency was overpowered by operatives of Manticore, a powerful alliance influencing the world from the shadows. Priyanka and Richard's characters stay disguised, oblivious of their part until one night, Richard's character is chased down by his one-time Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who is in dire need of his support to deter Manticore from establishing a new world order.
The series will be released on Prime Video and is directed by Joe Russo.

Dasara
Dasara is an action thriller movie starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh. The story is set in a village full of drunkards and is framed by Telangana's Singareni coal mines. The story involves love, and a coal heist, and is packed with action.
The story is set in a pub that permits the upper caste members to drink inside while those from the lower caste must drink outdoors. The hero of the film battles the upper castes for the rights of the lower caste. The movie also revolves around the themes of caste politics. The classic off-the-rack action movie "Dasara" communicates a societal message.
The movie is available in four languages that are Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, and is aired on Netflix.

Sweet Tooth 2
The series Sweet Tooth 2 is based on the DC comic book series. Vikram Ravichandran Announces His Next - "Mudhol"
Vikram Ravichandran revealed his upcoming gangster drama ‘Mudhol’. The actors and team of the film have covered 30 days of shooting. The title teaser and first look of the film were released on Wednesday, along with the announcement that Karthik Rajan would be acting as the director of the action-filled movie.

In his gangster avatar, The Crazy Star Junior, Vikram Ravichandran, is seen chewing a bone while holding a blade in his hand. In the image, the dog can also be seen holding a knife in his mouth which shows its commitment to the owner.

In the teaser, Vikram is portrayed as a convict who is preparing food for other prisoners who are ready to kill him while wearing masks. The dog steps in as a hero to save him and the two of them beat the gang together.

According to the film's director, Karthik Rajan, "There is a place called Mudhol in Karnataka. The place has a special canine breed known as the Mudhol Hound. In the movie, dog from this breed has a substantial role to perform."

According to the director, Vikram was stunned by the narrative of the story and quickly agreed to be a part of the movie.
