1. Open your QuickBooks file.
2. Click on edit menu in the top menu bar and select Preferences.
3. A new window would pop up. Select General option on your left-hand side. And Select My Preferences which is available in top.
4. You can easily see Default Date to Use for New Transactions and select Use the last date as default. And click on Ok.
5. So while selecting this option you can change date as per your preferences and can make payment.
6. Do all the required changes you need like to whom you want to pay, your preferred date, and amount. Now if you want to add more payments, click on Save & New and if you are done click on Save & Close.
