IACMCON Agartala organizers hail the efforts of Qubix Events & Conferences Pvt. Ltd. for the successful virtual meet of their 9th annual Conference IACMCON Agartala.

 
Qubix Events & Conferences, a name synonymous with facilitating effective medical meets and virtual academic events across the nation, organized the first virtual conference of the Indian Association of Clinical Medicine (IACMCON), Agartala, on 7th. February. The much-awaited medical event happened to be the 9th annual state conference of the Indian Association of Clinical Medicine (IACM) Tripura State Chapter for the year 2020 and held on a virtual platform due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. The grand academic meet was attended by over 350 delegates from various medical institutes across the country. As many as 15 multinational pharmaceutical companies also participated in the medical conference as academic partners. The event was hailed as an enriching experience for the attendees and participants in the 5th national-level conference organized by Qubix Solutions.
Distinguished clinical experts from different medical institutions presented their papers in the updated technology-supported clinical event which was segregated into four scientific sessions.
The inaugural session on “Case-based approach and Clinical Medicine” was commenced under the chairmanship of Dr. Debamallya Bhuyan, Prof Y Iboton Singh, and Prof (Dr) Girdhari Kar. Prof (Dr) Soumitra Kumar presented an enriching paper on heart failure management which was followed by a talk on chronic diarrhea by Dr. Akash Jaiswal. Prof (Dr) Arup Kumar Kundu wonderfully demonstrated the significance of hand examination in clinical medicine.
The second scientific session, chaired by Prof (Dr) Kumarjit Sinha and Prof (Dr) Kh Lokeshwar Singh, was dedicated to Critical Care management where Dr. Supradip Ghosh enlightened the participants on ventilation management in respiratory distress cases. It was followed by a timely glimpse into post-COVID management by Eminent Pulmonologist Dr. Raja Dhar.
Prof (Dr) Prithwiraj Bhattacharjee and Prof (Dr) Swaroop Kumar Baruah had the honor to chair the third session with Prof (Dr)) Rohini Handa and Prof (Dr) Dipanjan Bandyopadhya as key presenters. The concluding session devoted to Metabolic Equilibrium was chaired by Prof (Dr) Nilanjan Sengupta, Prof (Dr) Arjun Baidya, and Prof (Dr) Animesh Maiti. In this session, Dr. Pranab Kumar Sahana enlightened on balancing glycemic control while Dr. J J Mukherjee had a presentation on type 2 diabetes in the elderly. Dr. Sunil Kota illustrated the cardiac and lipid scenario in the Indian population.
The Organizing Chairperson, Prof. (Dr) Pradip Bhaumik expressed gratitude to all the delegates, partners, and participants who collaborated to make this virtual clinical meet a success. He wished if the participants could enjoy physically the picturesque Tripura during IACMCON Agartala 2020. But he complimented the wholehearted participation of all the dignitaries in the web conference and affirmed his belief that the event will have a gala impact on unfolding the new innovations in clinical medical practice. The organizing committee expressed their special appreciation for Qubix Events & Conferences whose infrastructural competence and expert back up made the virtual academic program possible with the much- needed efficiency.
