Niles Goodsite has been involved in the television industry for over three decades and has enjoyed his work every step of the way.

For well over three decades, Niles Goodsite has been a consistent contributor to the television industry. Working as an assistant director on multiple television shows, features, films and commercials, Niles has been a positive influence on many and a great colleague to have on the set. With a positive attitude and a love for ensuring the production flows smoothly, Niles’ input has been crucial to many award-winning projects.

In 1986, Niles Goodsite worked as a stage manager for a TV special called Pavarotti Plus!, which celebrated the Luciano Pavarotti’s silver anniversary as a performer. It was a great opportunity for Niles to earn a major production feather for his cap, and his input enabled the special to become one of TV’s must-watch during that time.

It seemed this would be the opening act for Niles' career working on high-profile shows. In the decades that followed, he would be involved in projects such as Fox Network's Married With Children, NBC’s 227, One Life to Live, The Young and the Restless, Sesame Street, Charmed, The Burning Zone, and Players, among many others. Also notably, he was involved in the early production of Live From Lincoln Center, one of the premier programs on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) since it premiered in 1976.

While his early responsibilities mainly involved work as a stage manager, Niles Goodsite would amass experience as an assistant director. This role placed more responsibilities on his shoulders, but he took it with seriousness and dedication. His work on Live From Lincoln Center earned him an Emmy Award, the industry’s highest honor.

Niles Goodsite has also been involved in producing memorable TV commercials, most notably for high-profile companies such as Coors Beers, GMC, Hyundai, Volvo, Revlon, McDonald’s, Sprint, MediaOne Cable, Lady Footlocker, Mattel, Mobil Oil, AT&T, Pepsi, Tylenol, Gallo Wines and Gatorade, among many others.

When he is not busy directing technical crews and providing guidance to the cast, Niles Goodsite will find time to play tennis. As a member of the United States Tennis Association, he passionately promotes the game among amateurs to the ranks of the professionals.
