The first deal involves the sale of Permian Basin assets to Resaca Exploration for $8.1 million. The second deal is with Bold Energy for the purchase of additional Permian Basin assets. Richard A. Counts is pleased that both deals have now closed, as they help to position Ranger 40 Petroleum as an important player in the Permian Basin. The Permian Basin is the most prolific oil producing basin in the US.
