I know that it can be a difficult decision to enroll a child in speech therapy. Many parents do not want to admit that their child is having developmental problems. I just want to tell them that they are not alone. It is a common problem, and it is no way a predictor of the future success of your child—especially if they get help early on. I believe that speech therapy is the best solution for children who are struggling to communicate. Professionals in the field with help develop the language and speaking techniques of children. If your child is struggling to communicate, there are really no cons of seeking professional help.

Since 2012, Julie Trimarco has been a licensed speech-language pathologist in Texas. Additionally, Julie Trimarco is American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certified. “If your child is failing to meet major developmental milestones, you should seek help. I know that it can be difficult to reach out to a professional, but I can assure you that it is the best decision for your child. Although you may think things will get better over time, the more time you put off seeking professional help, the more your child will fall behind,” Julie Trimarco stated.
